“It’s the most wonderful time of the year”
…Christmas…so here is our annual Christmas letter…absent is Christmas card & photo, but I promise to put many photo’s on this website sometime in January.
Dear Family and Friends,
This past month has been one of difficulty and heartache. Iris Ministry was given the privilege of taking care of a newborn baby named Laurie that was brought to our orphanage when she was just a month old. She came to us looking just like the starving children you see on TV – she was emaciated so much so that her face was full of wrinkles. One of my many heroes here is a young missionary named Emelyn who loved this baby back to life. Emelyn had 24 hour care of Laurie. Laurie was well fed and well loved. She was so full of love that her smiles beamed with joy and she captured your heart with her happiness. She was a beautiful baby that died this month. She was 6 months old. Many prayed and prayed for a miracle, but Laurie didn’t survive what possibly was crib death. It’s been especially hard for Emelyn to lose precious Laurie. We do take comfort in knowing that during Laurie’s short time here on earth she was deeply loved and she now is with her heavenly Father.
Recently houses have been ransacked and money, computers, supplies and personal items stolen. This is an on going problem. Missionaries can easily become discouraged, sick, face financial trials, etc. We at Iris are very aware of the witchcraft against us in Pemba. It’s a real war where the enemy (the devil) uses real bullets. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) We don’t let this move us away from this territory “because He who is within us is greater than he who is in the world.” (I John 4:4) Jeff and I have found that our greatest weapon in spiritual warfare is intimacy with God. The enemy is defeated when we draw close to God…the enemy is absolutely terrified of those who seek the presence of God. Winning the war is all about rest…it’s all about the presence of God being our “one thing.”
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. For the past 28 years I’ve sent Christmas cards along with a letter and photo to many folks. The thing I look forward to the most is receiving Christmas cards from so many of you. I brought all the cards that you sent us last year and will be putting them up in our home to remind us of you all, and then I will make Christmas cards out of the front pictures to give to our orphan kids here at Iris. So this is my big Christmas request that you don’t forget us here in Mozambique and send us a Christmas card to the address in Santa Rosa (in c/o Margaret Grayson; it’s on the website). Please don’t send to Pemba address as it would take at least 2 months to get here! We will come home soon after Christmas to visit Sam and Sarah, etc. and we’ll look forward to opening your cards and bringing them with us for next years Christmas.
Christmas is a big deal here at Iris orphanage and I’ve been told to not wear your nicest cloths on Christmas eve as they hand out candles to all the children and there is wax dripping on everyone and everything. It’s a wonder there isn’t a fire when they do this! You all know how much I love candles lit so this will thrill me. I’m excited about spending Christmas in Mozambique. The kids go nuts here when they receive their bag of toys, candies, etc. I see how God prepared my heart to be here as I was getting tired and bored with spending so much time decorating the house, spending too many hours (and dollars!) at the mall, etc. My heart began to yearn for more simplicity. I began to desire to be with the poor and learn from them. I wanted to be where the kingdom of God was manifested in greater measure. We’re so happy to be in Africa.
We are now approaching the summer months. The heat is pretty intense. The humidity is a killer. We are sweating as early as 6am in the morning when all we’re doing is sitting in a chair. We now turn a fan on when we go to bed and anytime we have the opportunity to just sit in our chairs. It’s not fun when the electricity goes out and we’re very happy when it comes back on!
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas…dream on baby! It can actually get up to 130 degree’s in January and February so we decided these would be very good months to come to the US. Wise move, wouldn’t you say?! I’m looking forward to wearing coats and gloves and cozying up to a fire at any fireplace I can find. We really look forward to seeing our kids! We’re also looking forward to eating back in the US. We’ve been talking about burritos lately. We are pretty jazzed to think that we’ll sink our teeth into one not long from now…I miss steamed broccoli with melted cheese…look forward to going to Costco and buying a big bag of Broccoli and a big bag of shredded cheese. I miss a good mattress to sleep on. We appreciate all the riches and comforts that America offers, especially its great food, dependable electricity, water, health care, roads, and it being a relatively safe country to live in. And yet, with all that we miss about our beloved country, we are so very thankful to be in Africa. It’s a land that is rich in other ways. The poor are thirsty and hungry, not only physically, but spiritually…this is a land where many people know their need for God and they find their contentment in God. It’s very humbling to see their happiness in the midst of such great poverty.
We pray your Christmas be filled with His joy and peace. “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Rom.14:17

Your wow power leveling adventure in Iysa begins in the city of wow powerleveling Roumen. This quaint town will be your home base until around powerleveling level 20. Begin your adventure by talking to Elemental Helper Remi and get your first power leveling quest! She will give you a few instructions and then send you to Healer Julia. To locate NPCs (non-player characters) on the map, press the M button. Healer Julia is just up the wow power level steps to the right.
Once you talk with Julia wow powerlevel, she will tell you all about HP (health points - red) and SP (spirit points - blue) stones. These are used to refill your wow powerleveling health and spirit when they get low wow power leveling. You receive a few free stones from Julia when you start your adventure in Isya and can always buy more wow power leveln from her. Julia will also give you your first wow powerleveln quest – a monster hunt to kill Slimes and Mushrooms. They can be found in the forest at the edge of fiesta online town.
TIP
Before you battle fiesta online, check out your character stats. Hit “C” or click the Character icon in the bottom right corner of the fiesta online gold screen. You will see the following character attributes:
STR (strength) – helps melee attacks and defense last chaos
DEX (dexterity) – increases ranged damage, chance to dodge attacks, and lastchaos attack speed
END (endurance) – increases hit points
INT (intelligence) – increases magic damage and last chaos gold resistance
SPR (spirit) – increases spirit points, chance to critical hit and spell cooldown
Your character begins the game with one free stat point and will receive an additional stat point for every increase in lastchaos gold level.
Equip your last chaos gold weapon and get ready to help save Isya! Hit the “I” key or click the Inventory icon in the lower right portion of the lastchaos gold screen. Your weapon will be in your inventory; right-click to equip fly for fun. To attack a flyff penya monster, double click on it. Mages start with an additional skill – the magic missile spell in their dofus skill bar. Select a monster and right-click on a spell or skill to use dofus kamas. Slain monsters often will drop items, so be sure to pick them up! Some are valuable and you can sell them to other players or NPCs.
If you get low dofus on life, use an HP stone by hitting the “Q” key or an SP stone by hitting “E”. You can also assign dofus kamas to your quick bar skills by opening your skills window, clicking on dragging them to the quick bar of your choice.
TIP
When not fighting flyff, rest in your mini house to regain health and spirit points! Hit the “H” key or click on the house icon in the bottom right corner of the game window to bring up the Mini House menu. Click the
“Rest [HOME]” button to enter your flyff penya house. If your house does not appear, move to a less crowded area or away from NPCs and try again. Press “H” again to exit your mini house.
TIP
Keep all the NosTale gold Summoned Beast Leather you find! These are valuable early in the game and can be sold to other players. A lot of the NosTale gold you will find while fighting enemies can also be used for crafting NosTale items later in the game. You can choose up to two crafting professions. Keep the items you find that relate to your chosen crafting professions, and sell the rest to make money. For instance, keep the ones related to potions and scrolls, but sell the ones relating to stones.

I don't know if you remember me, (Charlene here) But I finally made it to your website. Awesome, you guys are truly honest and beautiful people, I love it. I've struggled with my life in America versus the life I lived in Africa. And I love your honesty about loving the comforts of America, but truly enjoying Africa at the same time. I'm glad to see how your life is unfolding. I hope I get to cross your path at some point in this lifetime. Be Blessed!!

I ask myself "how the hell do you dodge an world of warcraft gold attack you can't even SEE?"Melee DPSers in your raid are playing very badly, increasing the damage to your tank and wow power leveling decreasing their own damage output. Mobs do dodge from behind, but they don't parry or block. So the number of kamas dofus times my rogue has had attacks parried or dodged from dofus kamas behind their target while in stealth never happened. Got it. that's because you dofus kamas didn't position yourself right!if you stand inside the mob or too close, your weapons can go through it, and you will get Lord of the Rings Online Gold parried etc.This idea Kerrigan had LOTRO Gold against heavy units came after she witnessed Terran Armor Annihilators tear through some Ultalisks very easily.
