We need your prayers!
Three weeks ago a disco moved right next to our housing and the music blares 24 hours a day – it’s so difficult to sleep or feel rested. Our house, along with many of our missionaries, is right beside the music. It’s an open air disco…no walls…and we all bombarded with noise constantly.
We are going to petition the government to stop the disco (believe it or not, the government sanctioned it in the first place!). There are many who are drunk and causing many problems…it’s not safe to live next to a disco. Last week one of our visitors was physically attacked right on our base. I am extremely busy and with a lack of sleep it’s hard to function. We have all kinds of missionaries: doctors, nurses, construction, finance, teachers, etc., who need to be mentally alert and are having a difficult time right now. Ear plugs do little to eliminate any of the loud ruckus we hear all day and all night long. Please pray the government will decide to close down this disco.
Also, on a another personal note, if you know of any one who needs house sitting Jan – Mar in the Seattle, WA area and the Santa Rosa, CA area please let us know as we are in need of housing during that time.
Jeff and I are hosting a marriage conference next weekend. We’re really excited about it and we’d love it if you pray for all the couples and single people who will be attending.

Hey you two,
What a drag with the disco problem! I understand how vital sleep is. :) I'll be praying that God remedies this situation for you. I'll also pray for your living situation when you return to California. At the very least, we have an empty bedroom! I'd love to catch up with you guys then.

Please continue to pray the disco closes down.
The music blasts through the missionaries homes...most of us have just screens and no glass on the windows, but even for those who have windows the noise is unbearable and is a cause of sleepless nights.
